- Find the set. Search by set number or name and open its inventory. Check that the set and inventory match the box or instructions you have.
- Choose a recovery mode. Start with a clean checklist, or compare the required parts with loose pieces marked available in your collection.
- Check exact part and colour. Similar shapes can have different catalogue identities. Review the listed part and colour before counting a piece as found.
- Track progress as you sort. Record the pieces you have confirmed. If a part is already committed to another build, it is not treated as available stock.
